Chimneyside Tales is a fun way to learn about
American history with lots of opportunities for audience participation! Meet a cavalcade of characters of the 18th and 19th centuries. Sailors (including female sailors), lumbermen, peddlers, tinkers, farmers and their industrious wives come to life through the folksongs and stories of the past. We meet the children too by way of their songs and singing games. 

Ideal for ages 6 and older, these programs give an intriguing glimpse of the lives of ordinary Americans
